A price log is a valuable asset to the savings arsenal. It is an easy way to help you remember the price of every item in every store, every week. Use a cheap notebook or computer program to track the normal unit price and the sale unit price of common purchases. Bring your receipts home as a guide to remembering what items cost that day. The log will help you to decide when it's a good time to buy and when it's a good time to wait. Find some ideas here.

Price memory
Been meaning to start one of these for years. Is there an online database anywhere that keeps track of price ranges?
