A well-stocked changing area will improve your cash flow as well as your sanity. Keep a zipper lock plastic bag with facial tissues as an inexpensive (and refillable) alternative to expensive single-use packs. Try a roll of paper towels with smaller sheets so that you can use a towel that is equal to the size of the mess. Reaching for the baby wipes for every mess will start to burn a hole in your wallet. Washable cloth diapers are another baby changing staple. These reusable cloths are great for covering boys while you swap diapers, for burp cloths and as general wipes.
