It happens more than we’d like to think. Luggage gets lost or delayed. Keeping medications, small toiletries, a change of clothes and other essentials in your carry-on means you won't find yourself unnecessarily hitting the mall – both a waste of time and of money – while on vacation if your bags are routed someplace else.

buy travel insurance too
hey guys, that's a good idea. i always bring two days' worth of clothes in my carry-on bag. but when you travel overseas always buy travel insurance too - that way if your luggage gets lost more than 24-hours you CAN go shopping!
