FAQs

WHAT IS LOZO?

LOZO’s goal is to save you money! LOZO is completely free, and our most popular service is helping you find grocery coupons that are right for you.

Grocery coupons can help you reduce your grocery bill by 20-40%, saving you $1,000 each year. Unfortunately, those coupons are scattered across the web and are very time consuming to find. This is where LOZO comes in!

LOZO's powerful technology constantly monitors over 400 trustworthy websites, apps and brands that offer more than 1,000 grocery coupons. We know when new coupons arrive and when older coupons go out of stock. From this massive coupon database, we help you find the ones that are right for you by:

  1. Matching Coupons to Your Grocery List. Enter your grocery list at LOZO.com and we’ll email you links to coupons that match the items on your list.
  2. Listing 1,000+ Coupons in our Grocery Coupons Bundler. Browse tons of coupons, all in one place. When you find coupons you want, we’ll show you how to get them.

Here’s some more information about how LOZO works:

What LOZO Does:

  • We help you find coupons that you care about. We constantly monitor hundreds of websites that have coupons, so you don’t have to!
  • We can track your personal grocery list including your brand & variety preferences, and notify you when matching coupons are available.
  • We have a “Kayak-style” Grocery Coupons Bundler that shows you over 1,000 grocery coupons from over 400 different sources all in one place! You can browse these coupons, select those you like, and see any restrictions imposed by the brands who offer them. Some coupons you can print right at LOZO. For the rest, we’ll give you convenient links and instructions on how to get them.
  • We group coupons together to save you steps. If we see that you’ve selected 5 coupons from the same website, we’ll give you 1 link, not 5 links! This unique coupon intelligence is not something you'll find from a coupon database. We do the same thing when we send you links to coupons that match your grocery list. Plus, we’ll pre-clip these coupons for you whenever possible to save you time.
  • We teach you how to save with money-saving tips and resources for 75 everyday spending categories.
  • Save you money, no strings attached! LOZO IS COMPLETELY FREE TO USE, funded by advertising from the brands and retailers who want to get their coupons to you.

What LOZO Does Not Do:

  • We cannot change coupons or remove restrictions. The brands and retailers are the ones who issue the coupons, so LOZO is not able to change them or remove restrictions that they have put on them. If a brand requires you to sign-up or use particular software, LOZO is unable to change that. If a coupon requires a store card or receipt rebate, we are not able to change it to be printable.
  • Since we don’t own the coupons, we can’t print all of the coupons in a single step from one place. There are tons coupons you can print right here on LOZO, similar to what you find on other individual coupon sites, but the rest have to be printed or downloaded from the sites where they appear. We are continually working with brands to remove these steps for you. For more information about how to get your coupons, visit our Printing Your Coupons section below.
  • We can’t "attach" the coupons to an email, or send them by regular postal mail. The only way to get these coupons is to go through the process that the brands require. We WILL save you time by emailing you when we find the coupons, and providing links and instructions to get them.

WHAT CHANGED AT LOZO?

In May, 2018 LOZO got a big upgrade! Like any change, it may take a short while for our loyal users to get used to the new experience, but we assure you it is worth it!

Our system now features:

  • One site for both desktop and mobile browsers
  • Mobile printing, when the brands allow it
  • Personalized results, learning from your selections to automatically suggest offers we think you might like
  • Even easier coupon selecting, list management, and more
  • Better tracking of offers you have selected in the past, so you can get back to your choices
  • Much more!

GROCERY COUPONS VIA EMAIL

What is LOZO’s Grocery Coupons Email Alert service?

When you enter your grocery list at LOZO.com, we will scan hundreds of trustworthy websites and brands to find coupons that match the items on your list. Once we find matches, we’ll email you links to those coupons.

Please note, you’ll only be able to print some coupons at LOZO.com. For the rest, we’ll direct you to the relevant website(s) and let you know what steps you’ll to take to get them.

How does the Grocery Coupons Email Alert service work?

Enter your grocery list when you register, and make changes via My Account. Set your email preferences, and sit back! We'll continually monitor for new coupons, and send you an email when we find them.

How do I sign up?

You’ll be prompted on our site to sign up as you are making selections or going to access the coupons. The more items you list, the more coupons we can find. You can always make changes to your list in My Account.

What items can I put on my list?

Enter anything you want. You can enter your favorite brands (e.g., Cheerios) and/or categories (e.g., Cereal) or tags/varieties (e.g., Multi-Grain Cheerios). Based on that list, we’ll find coupons that match your preferences. And, remember, the more items you add, the more coupons we can find.

How do I get notified about new coupons?

Our technology regularly reviews your list and email preferences, and searches hundreds of sites to find new matching coupons. If there are new coupons that meet your requests, we'll send you an email with all of them listed, along with links to get them. Note that we may limit the number of coupon alerts in each email to ensure an easier printing experience (for example sending coupons from just one source at a time).

Let's get personal: how do I make sure you find the right coupons for me?

In order to find coupons personalized for you, our technology reviews your list and organizes the items by category, brand and variety.

The most important step to take to ensure good matches is to make sure your grocery list is up-to-date. Are all of your items listed and matched to the correct categories and/or brands? Remember, the more general your list item, the more coupons we will try match to.

If an item is listed incorrectly on your list, or if it includes words that don't belong, then our system may not be able to optimally match to it, so you may get alerted to fewer coupons or matched to ones you didn't expect.

To make sure you don’t miss out on great savings, our emails may include additional coupons that our system thinks you might like, or are popular with other LOZO users.

Why did I get alerted to a coupon I didn't want?

Our system tries to find the best matches for you, based on your list. However any issues with your list (or preferences you might not have mentioned) might lead to imperfect matches. Here are some common ways you can improve the results:

  • Specify brands. Our system will try to figure out brands you like, based on selections you make and any brands you directly enter into your list.
  • Remove unwanted categories. Our system will add categories to your list based on selections you make. You can remove any that no longer apply, and we will learn from that for the future.

We may also include alerts for coupons that our system thinks you might like, based on what other users have selected, or general popular offers that you might not want to miss.

Why didn't I get alerts for coupons for ___?

Some categories (such as fresh foods like meats, fruits & vegetables), and specific brands just don’t have as many coupons available. Rest assured though that we are constantly looking for new coupons & sources to ensure we can send you links to as many relevant coupons as possible!

Note that we may limit the number of coupon alerts in each email to ensure an easier printing experience (for example: sending coupons from just one source at a time). In that case you may receive alerts for certain items but not others, in a particular email. If there are more valid coupons available for your list then you can see them when you visit the LOZO website, or check for alerts in a subsequent email.

How do I add or delete items on my grocery list?

To update your grocery list, go to the "Preferences" tab.

You can use the icons to delete items from your list. Remember more items on your list means more coupons and more savings!

How frequently will you email me alerts of new grocery coupons?

Coupon alerts may come up to a few times per week, depending on how many new offers have arrived.

For how long will you email me alerts of new grocery coupons?

We’ll keep emailing you links to matching grocery coupons until you tell us to stop. After all, most people go grocery shopping once (or more!) each week, so you might as well keep saving money with new coupons!

Why are the links in LOZO emails sending me to other websites?

LOZO monitors over 400 trustworthy websites and brands that offer more than 1,000 grocery coupons. When we find coupons that match items on your list, we’ll email you a link to that coupon.

In some cases, you can print your coupons right here at LOZO. For the rest, you’ll need to go to the website or brand that is offering the coupons in order to get your savings. In those cases, we’ll direct you to them via a link and let you know what you’ll need to do to get them.

Why can’t I print all my coupons from LOZO.com?

Our goal is to find you the coupons that are right for you, but these coupons are not actually created by LOZO. As such, we try to make it as simple as possible for you to find them on the 400+ trustworthy websites we monitor.

In some cases, you can print your coupons right here at LOZO. For the rest, you’ll need to go to the website or brand that is offering the coupons in order to get your savings. In those cases, we’ll direct you to them via a link and let you know what you’ll need to do to get them.

Some coupons may be digital (paperless) where no print option is available. These may link to your store card(s) and/or be redeemable through an app where you upload a receipt. Others may link to specific sites, such as Amazon.com, which are offering the savings.

What are "suggestions" for my grocery list?

Since more items on your list means more savings for you, we may suggest additional categories or brands based on user popularity and/or your shopping list and coupon activity.

I was asked to install printing software to print out my coupons… is it safe?

Yes, it’s safe! LOZO gathers coupons from multiple sites throughout the web and some of these sites require new users to install printing software. The software manages how many times you can print each coupon (generally twice), and ensures that you are using a real printer (printing to PDF files and other virtual printing is not allowed). Each site is reputable and affirms that their software is safe. If you encounter any issues, please contact them directly since LOZO does not control this software.

GROCERY COUPONS BUNDLER

What is the Grocery Coupons Bundler?

The Grocery Coupons Bundler is where LOZO compiles over 1,000 grocery coupons from over 400 different sources—all in one place! You can browse these coupons, select those you like and then we’ll show you how to get them. Some, you can print right at LOZO. For the rest, we’ll direct you to them and let you know what you’ll need to do to procure them.

How does the Grocery Coupons Bundler work?

  • What we do: Grocery coupons are scattered all over the web. LOZO finds reliable grocery coupons from hundreds of trustworthy sites and brands, and lists them for you all in one place (the Grocery Coupons Bundler!).
  • How you use it: Use our convenient features to search and "clip" coupons for your favorite categories, brands, and varieties. Rollover the coupon (or tap on your mobile phone) to see the details and learn about any restrictions such as if Sign-Up is required. Then click "Get Your Coupons" to proceed. Coupons from our partners (E.g., Coupons.com, Hopster, SmartSource, Qples) can be printed right within LOZO.com, after installing the print software or completing the mobile validation required by each. The rest of the coupons are found elsewhere on the web, so LOZO will give you a convenient link to visit those sites, along with step-by-step instructions for how to claim your savings. Note that only some coupons will print from a mobile phone and you’ll need to have a wireless printer for those. If you do not have a wireless printer we will save and email your selections so that you can print them from your home computer.
  • Save, share & get more: Once you've made your selections, we will give you a chance to save & share a link to get back to them. Plus we'll automatically create a grocery list for you. When we find similar coupons in the future, we’ll email you links to them.
  • Don't forget: LOZO saves you time by finding coupons all over the web, but we don't control how the coupons work. We are not able to get around the print software and/or sign-up restrictions that the brands have. We also don't control the technology behind the print software that may not work for everyone. However, we will do our best to help you fix any problems you have.

How do I find the coupons I want?

There are numerous ways to sort all the coupons in the Bundler, making it easy to find just what you want.

  • Use the “Search” field. Enter your grocery list or keywords into the “Search” field in the upper left-hand side of the page. Click the magnifying glass and only matching coupons will appear!
  • Use the “Categories” filter to show only the brands you prefer such as Cereal, Yogurt and so on. You can enter preferred brands into the Search field as well.
  • Use the “Brands” filter to show only the brands you prefer such as Cheerios, Yoplait and so on. You can enter preferred brands into the Search field as well.
  • Use the “Type of Coupon” filter to show coupons that are procured in a particular way. For example, if you only want coupons that load directly to you savings card or only want to see coupons that can be printed right here at LOZO.com, you can indicate that here.

Does the Grocery Coupons Bundler contain all the coupons you track?

While it contains the majority of them, some coupons are only available to our email subscribers. To ensure you get access to the largest selection of coupons, sign-up by entering your grocery list at LOZO.com.

I’m tired of searching for grocery coupons… can’t you just email me the links?

We sure can! If you enter your grocery list at LOZO.com, we’ll email you link to matching coupons.

Why can’t I print all my coupons while I’m on LOZO.com?

Our goal is to find you the coupons that are right for you, but these coupons are not actually created by LOZO. As such, we try to make it as simple as possible for you to find them on the 400+ trustworthy websites we monitor.

We will always do our best to consolidate your coupons into the fewest number of links possible. For example if 5 coupons are from the same website, we’ll give you 1 link, not 5. Plus, whenever possible, we’ll pre-clip these coupons for you to save you time.

But, other coupon websites allow me to print my coupons all at once!

Some coupon websites like Coupons.com allow you to click and print all of their coupons at the same time. So does LOZO! We have all of those offers listed on our site AND hundreds of others you probably don’t know about. After making all of your coupon selections on LOZO.com we will consolidate them for you and, when possible, we’ll provide you with a quick link to print multiple coupons at once.

I was asked to install printing software to print out my coupons… is it safe?

Yes, it’s safe! LOZO aggregates coupons from multiple sites throughout the web and some of these sites require new users to install printing software. The software manages how many times you can print each coupon (generally twice), and ensures that you are using a real printer (printing to PDF files and other virtual printing is not allowed). Each site is reputable and affirms that their software is safe.

PRINTING YOUR COUPONS

I was asked to install printing software to print out my coupons… is it safe?

Yes, it’s safe! LOZO aggregates coupons from multiple sites throughout the web and some of these sites require new users to install printing software. The software manages how many times you can print each coupon (generally twice), and ensures that you are using a real printer (printing to PDF files and other virtual printing is not allowed). Each site is reputable and affirms that their software is safe.

If you encounter any issues, hopefully our FAQs below will help. If you still have issues, please contact them directly since LOZO does not control this software.

Why can’t I print all my coupons while I’m on LOZO.com?

Our goal is to find you the coupons that are right for you, but these coupons are not actually created by LOZO. As such, we try to make it as simple as possible for you to find them on the 400+ trustworthy websites we monitor.

Some coupons may be digital (paperless) where no print option is available. These may link to your store card(s) and/or be redeemable through an app where you upload a receipt. Others may link to specific sites, such as Amazon.com, which are offering the savings.

How do I print from my iPad, iPhone, or other tablet or mobile device?

If the brands and their chosen software allow it, we will provide an option for mobile printing where available.

You can also download any "E-Coupons" (check the "Types of Coupons" filter above the Grocery Coupons Bundler) without having to print, and you can do this from most devices.

I tried to print and it’s not working. Why?

There are a few common reasons why coupons may not print:

  1. The coupon might be "sold out" (i.e., it has reached its maximum number of allowed prints, as specified by the manufacturer). We always try to confirm the coupon is available before we notify you, but since inventory constantly changes it is possible that it sold out by the time we emailed you and the time you clicked. Don’t worry, we’ll keep looking for new matches.
  2. You may have already printed it through another website. You can only print each coupon a certain number of times—usually two—from each computer, regardless of whether you printed it from LOZO or another source. If you already printed that coupon from another website, that counts against how many times you can print with LOZO. We recommend always printing from LOZO so we can help you keep track!
  3. You’ll need to have a default printer that is a real, paper-based printer set to "print" mode, with ink and paper loaded. You’ll need to install safe printing software before you print for the first time, and you’ll need a modern operating system and browser.

If you are still having trouble please consult the coupon sites directly for technical help since LOZO doesn’t control their software: SmartSource, RedPlum, Qples, Revtrax, Hopster, Coupons.com

MY ACCOUNT

When will I receive my Activation Email?

Activation emails are normally sent within 24 hours. However, due to increased volume in the past couple of weeks, it may take up to 7-10 days.

Be sure to add "*@lozo.com" (or the individual accounts "accounts@lozo.com", "couponmatches@lozo.com", "newsletters@lozo.com") to your ‘safe list’ to ensure our emails don’t go to your junk mail box!

I can’t find—or never received—my Activation Email… help!

Yes, simply visit our Forget Your Password? page and enter your email address. We will send you an email that will allow you to access your account. Please note that due to overwhelming demand, it may take up to 7-10 days to receive your activation email. During that time our system will not recognize your email address (since you have not yet been activated) so you will not be able to set a password.

If you still have trouble accessing your account, please email us at support@lozo.com.

Visit our Forget Your Password? page and enter your email address. We will send you an email that will allow you to access your account.

What items can I put on my list?

Enter anything you want. You can enter your favorite brands (e.g. Cheerios), categories (e.g. Cereal) or varieties (e.g. Honey-Nut Cheerios). Based on that list, we’ll find coupons that match your preferences. And, remember, the more items you add, the more coupons we can find.

Why didn’t I get the coupons that I wanted?

First, make sure your grocery list is up-to-date with all of your items listed and matched to the correct categories and/or brands. The more general your item, the more coupons we can match to.

For example, "yogurt" with no specific brands mentioned will match to all yogurt coupons, so you will receive links to coupons for Yoplait, Chobani, Dannon and so on. However, "Yoplait Strawberry Yogurt" will only match when we find that specific brand and variety.

Also, some categories (such as fresh foods like meats, fruits & vegetables) just don’t have as many coupons available. However, we are constantly looking for new coupons sources to ensure we can send you links to as many relevant coupons as possible!

Why are you sending me coupons I didn’t want?

Please read about Improving Matches.

How do I add or delete items on my grocery list?

To update your grocery list, go to the "Preferences" tab.

You can use the icons to delete an item from your list. Remember more items on your list means more coupons and more savings!

How frequently will you email me links to grocery coupons?

Coupon alerts may come up to a few times per week, depending on how many new offers have arrived.

For how long will you email me links to grocery coupons?

We’ll keep emailing you links to matching grocery coupons until you tell us to stop. After all, most people go grocery shopping once (or more!) each week, so you might as well keep saving money with new coupons!

What are "suggestions" for my grocery list?

Since more items on your list means more savings for you, we may suggest additional categories or brands based on user popularity and/or your shopping list and coupon activity.

MOBILE DEVICES

Can I use LOZO.com on my mobile device?

Yes! You can browse coupons, clip coupons and add new items to your LOZO grocery list—all from your tablet or smartphone!

Can I print coupons from my mobile device?

If the brands and their chosen software allow it, we will provide an option for mobile printing where available.

Can I add e-coupons to my mobile device directly from LOZO.com?

Not at this time. You can access e-coupons the same way you access printable coupons, with LOZO providing links directly to the sites or apps where the brands make the coupons available.

ONLINE GROCERY COUPONS

What do I need to know about online grocery coupons?

Here’s everything you need to know:

  • Coupons can help you save 20-40% on your grocery bill, and even more when used in conjunction with sale items.
  • Online grocery coupons are similar to ones that you find in your Sunday newspaper (and many of the same ones). However, you print them instead of cutting them out. Once you’ve printed your coupons, you carry them to the store and present them to the cashier in the same way.
  • Online grocery coupons are all over the web. Some are found together and you can print from same place, while many others are scattered across different brand & retailer websites and Facebook pages.
  • Many websites and bloggers show the same coupons as each other. So the $1.00 Off Cheerios coupon you find on one blog is usually the same as the $1.00 Off Cheerios coupon you find on another. That’s why LOZO is so great—we do all the legwork to find you new and unique coupons!
  • Each brand controls their own coupon, and may have requirements you need to meet before you can get it (e.g., signing up for their email list). Because of this, it is not yet possible to print every coupon from one place (though it’s something LOZO is working on!)
  • In order to print, you may have to install printer software or validate your mobile phone. Brands use this to protect against fraud since most coupons are only meant to be printed once or twice per person. This software is safe. There are different types of software out there and brands use different ones, so you might have to install more than one type to get all of your coupons. Once you install, you should be able to print all coupons that require that software in the future.
  • You need to print most coupons from a regular computer (not an iPad or smartphone) in order for the software to work.
  • Some coupons can be added directly to your store shopper/loyalty cards so no printing is required. We call these E-Coupons.
  • Coupons are constantly changing. Dozens get added and go out of stock each day.

How do I use my coupons?

Most coupons are still in paper form, whether you clip from your newspaper, find on display in a store, or print from online sites like LOZO. Bring your coupons to the store and purchase the required item(s) as listed on the coupon. Some coupons can be used on "any" item within a range of products, others require you to buy a very specific size and/or variety. Hand your coupons to your cashier at checkout. After the cashier scans your items they will scan your coupons, and the savings will instantly deduct from your total.
