Keep in mind that like with any purchase, the dealer will initially give you a high price to maximize his profit & you will need to counter low to maximize your savings. As you negotiate towards the middle, be sure to pay attention to the total cost of the warranty and not just the monthly payments. Often dealers will try to entice you with a more affordable monthly price, but will require you to pay for additional months – meaning that the total price might still be too high.
