One-way rates are usually higher than regular daily rates. If necessary, consider the best way to keep the price down by planning your trip accordingly. For instance, if you need a one-way rental to get to your vacation destination, consider using that car just for the length of the drive and returning it immediately, to limit the day or days you are paying the one-way rate. Then switch to a local daily rental for the rest of your trip.
