Consider combining your own spices before going after those expensive pre-made marinades. Marinades are easy to make at home and in some cases just a simple salad dressing will suffice. A basic meat marinade is a combination of an oil, an acid and a salt. Use what you already have in the kitchen to save yourself lots of money at the store.
