Many stores will give customers an immediate price reduction if they use their own carry bags. Reuse bags from a previous shopping trip or try luggage (e.g. backpack, suitcase) to carry your groceries. If your goal is just to save money, then be careful about buying the canvas shopping bags in the store as you will have to make many trips to recoup the money you spent.
