In addition to sales on individual items, some manufacturers combine products for larger discounts. The weekly supermarket circular will sometimes contain a special discount when multiple items are purchased together. For example: ‘Save $10 off your next purchase when you buy 8 qualifying General Mills products’. After buying these groceries, the cash register will print out a special coupon for $10 on another visit. In some cases you can repeat this deal, using the $10 coupon towards the next purchase and getting another $10 one when you are done.
