The most common grocery store purchases (milk and eggs) are purposely located in the farthest corner of the store. The customer must walk through aisles of other tempting food to find the quick items they wanted. The highest profit and temptation items (candies and cold drinks) are purposely located right near the register. A customer waiting on the checkout line cannot avoid seeing them. Stay aware of your surroundings to avoid those pesky impulse buys.
