Some sales have a limit to the number of items that can be purchased at one time (the limitation is usually listed in the supermarket circular and on the shelf price tag). A limit of 4 means that any additional items will be charged the regular retail price during that checkout session. However, it is ok to make multiple visits. Purchase 4 items, place them in the car, walk back into the store, purchase 4 more items, place them in the car, etc. Soon, there will be a car full of groceries at a low price.
