The range of costs for cables varies greatly, though the quality doesn’t. For example: a popular name brand HDMI cable may cost $100, but the same cable from a lesser known company could be half that or even less. The performance, however, will be the indistinguishable. Check your preferred electronics store, eBay, or Amazon for the more modestly priced options.
Note: although we love the modestly priced options, we don’t recommend the super cheap no-name brand options you can find at a Dollar Store or similar retailers. While the cost will be extremely low, the cables might have bad connectors or shielding, or other problems that make them unusable.
