If you buy a “pre-owned” game from a larger retailer such as GameStop or Amazon, it will be guaranteed to work just like new and it can save you from around $10 per game to as much as 50% off the new price. Even for hot new releases this can work, provided you wait about a week after it first comes out. You can also buy used games from places like eBay and craigslist. Although the reliability isn’t guaranteed, you can usually still find quality games at cheap prices.
