Turn the thermostat UP a few degrees in summer. The smaller the difference between inside and outside temperatures, the less work the air conditioner has to do to maintain a constant temperature. Each degree higher cuts cooling costs by around 3%, so turn the thermostat up as high as you can stand it. It’s summer so it’s ok to be a little bit warm!
