Save seeds from this year’s vegetables and herbs to save money on next year’s plantings. This is one of the cheapest ways to maintain and build up a healthy vegetable garden. Save the seeds from abundantly-seeding herbs, as well as vegetables like pumpkins, squashes and peppers. Set the seeds aside to dry and save them for when you are next ready to plant. It’s sustainable, and cheaper than buying new ones.
