They might not be name brand or overly fancy, but a $1 or $2 hammer will probably work just as well around the house as a $10 one. Bargains on everything from pliers, kitchen gadgets, screws and screw drivers, Exacto knives and painting supplies can often be found at dollar stores. Why spend $24 on a crescent wrench at Home Depot when a dollar store probably has one for a buck. Don’t forget to grab a tool box and organizing shelves as well. It’s true that some of these tool will wear out more quickly than their expensive counterparts, but even considering replacement costs you’ll still come out way ahead.
