If you are going to use them up, then buying movie tickets in bulk is a wise investment if you can lay out the cash. Depending on how many you buy at once (some places set a minimum of 50 tickets) you might get the price down to between $6.50 – $7.50 per ticket. Team up with family or friends to buy a bundle and share the cost. Best of all you’ll be locking in a price; the tickets will still be valid, even if (or when) theater prices go up. Make sure you buy the appropriate type of ticket. Some (such as the AMC Gold passes) can be used for any show, any time, while others (such as the AMC Silver passes) cannot be used during the first two-week run of a new release movie.
