Most restaurants offer some kind of dining-out deal, especially the popular chains. They might have certain entrees at a discount, or a bundle price that includes soup/salad and a drink. Always check these options first, since you might find something you love on the cheap. Also look for cheap upgrades, such as adding a bowl of soup or the salad bar for $2 or so. Fill up on these yummy starters and take most of your main entree home for lunch or dinner the next day.
Just be aware that the daily “specials” might not have a special price so be sure to ask how much it is.
