If someone gives you a gift card, but you don’t have immediate use for it, don’t blow it on expensive toys just because you didn’t pay for them. You’ll still get more value – and more toys – by looking for big sales. And you can still use coupons when you pay with a gift card, so find the best bargains you can to get the most mileage out of your card. Same goes for store credit you may receive for returning unwanted items.
