Saturday nights are generally the most popular times to have weddings, and therefore the most expensive. If you can pull off a wedding on a weeknight you’ll definitely save. If it has to be a weekend, try for a Friday night, or for a brunch or lunch on Saturday or Sunday. The colder months of October through April will be cheaper than the popular Spring and Summer seasons. Reception sites, caterers and other wedding professionals are apt to give a substantial discount for booking outside of the peak times.
