Sun and heat can damage both the exterior and interior of your car. While it is easy to see how the elements can wear out the paint and exterior, it is actually inside the car that can suffer the most heat damage. Temperatures inside a car can actually climb to almost double what’s outside, making it hot enough to peel window tint, crack dashboards and fade the entire interior. When possible, park in a garage to keep the car cool. If a garage is not an option, always try to find a shady spot, and use a dashboard sun shade to keep the interior a little bit cooler.
