Salespeople usually get their commission from the cell phone plan you buy, not from the cell phone and all the ‘extra’ accessories. As such, they’re often willing to give free or discounted equipment in order to seal the deal. See if you can get a deal on the cell phone, accessories, or even get the activation fee waived. It never hurts to ask!
