Even though most cell phone providers now have nationwide networks, there are still occasional coverage black holes, in which you’ll have to pay roaming charges. If you hit one of these unlucky spots…don’t use your cell phone unless you absolutely need to. Roaming fees are exorbitant and will hike up a phone bill in no time.
