Restaurant coupons can be found everywhere: online, in newspapers, in the mail. Focus on going to restaurants where you have coupons; you might find some new favorite places this way. If don’t already have a coupon in hand, before you go out do an online search for your restaurant name and the word coupon (e.g., “Joe’s Restaurant coupon”) and you might get lucky. If you can’t ever find one for your favorite restaurant, call them and ask if and where they distribute coupons.
Many restaurants have their own web pages, and some even have their own Facebook pages. Sign up for their newsletters and you’ll hear about any promotions or coupons they offer. Just remember to tip fairly – even though you’re getting a great deal, the waitperson still has to do the same amount of work. You should always tip based on the bill BEFORE the coupon discount is applied.
