Nearly every gym has free trial offers that allow you to preview their facilities before you commit. We recommend signing up for free trials at all your local gyms, one after the other, until you’ve hit them all. This is a great way to get a feel for each one of them AND it’s a great way to get free gym membership for a couple of months before you commit to paying.
This is also a great way to find out if you’re really committed to going to the gym. Once you’ve proven your commitment, pick the gym you like the best and sign-up for a longer-term contract (which will usually save you 10%-25% over the month-to-month plans).
