Re-gifting can be a great frugal option for kid’s presents. When a child gets lots of presents at a birthday party, or duplicate items, consider holding a few back and gifting them on to other kids not in the same social circle for their birthdays. Or immediately return any items that didn’t excite your child. It’s easier if the gifting parent included the receipt (if they didn’t, you can always ask), but the big toy stores will often let you return for store credit even if you don’t have one.
