Shelved items at the salon are generally priced higher than they would be at another store; however salons often run clearance specials when they want to clear an item off the shelf. You can also ask the salon if they have access to larger bottles. A salon-size product could mean a huge discount over the normal retail price. For other regular priced products, however, take note of the item and its price then head online to research a better deal. Ask your stylist to suggest a similar, mainstream alternative to the pricey salon product.
