Some photographers offer full service editing, retouching, photo albums, and so on. It might be cheaper to find one who will just shoot, and give you the raw footage, or who will shoot and retouch just a certain number of photos. This is especially useful for people who have the skills – or know someone who does – to do the follow-up work themselves. Do a lot of research and most importantly, get recommendations from people you know, to find a great-value photographer.
Another option is to have a friend or family member who is a talented photographer or videographer, to capture the memories for you. Just keep in mind that if they are taking pictures they can’t be in them, so don’t ask someone who is a centerpiece of your wedding party.
