Some health insurance plans may cover part of the cost of specialized infant formula, like Nutramigen or Alimentum, if you have a prescription from your doctor. You would still be responsible for your regular co-pay but this could be significant savings. Check with your benefits department or insurance carrier. Likewise some will cover part of the cost of a breast pump.
