Wholesale stores (e.g. Costco, Sam’s Club) stock some of the highest quality and least expensive fruits and vegetables available to the average consumer. The downside is a requirement to purchase large quantities. Always consider your family’s eating habits before committing to a large purchase. Consult your friends and neighbors too, as they might be interested in splitting the cost of those large volume purchases. And freeze what you can’t eat in time.
