Most people prefer to buy appliances in a physical store. However it still pays to shop around online to do some price comparisons and more. You can often find special coupons and discounts this way, and even order online for pickup in store.
Check manufacturers’ websites for special mail-in rebate promotions which you can usually add on top of the coupon discount. When you get to the store, ask the salesperson if they can offer any rebates or discounts or throw in any extras, like store gift cards or extra products. Will they offer a deep discount if multiple appliances are purchased together? Or take a trade-in on your old appliance, offer free delivery, or agree to remove your old appliance? Don’t be afraid to negotiate or ask for a discount – the worst they can say is no.
