The perforation on paper goods is merely a suggestion. A small mess might not require an entire paper towel, so try ripping the amount you need off the roll rather than following the manufacturer’s suggestion. Some companies now offer towels with short sheets just for this purpose. However, these rolls often come with a premium price. Using smaller bits of towel will give you much more mileage out of your paper goods.
