When printing drafts to be edited, or even for internal printed communications, switch to the lower quality setting on your printer (commonly referred to as “draft”, “toner save” or “economy” mode). You should be able to make the change in the print options or print properties window. Your documents will still be completely readable, just a little less sharp, and will use only around half the toner. Your printer cartridges will last much longer, saving you on expensive ink costs.
Use the print preview function to see what pages are going to be printed. Select only the ones that you need, to save ink and paper.
