Many smaller & regional airlines like Southwest, AirTran, Virgin America, JetBlue, Midwest and Frontier don’t get listed on major travel search sites like Travelocity, but often have considerably lower fares. It is worth the extra step of searching these airlines individually when looking for the best price on flights.
