Often, concert promoters will team up with corporate sponsors, such as car companies or food manufacturers, for cross-promotions, in order to get fans of a certain artist or band interested in their products. One example would be a car company that offers free concert tickets for customers who take a test drive and listen to a sales pitch. Look out for these cross-promotions and try to score free tickets. Also keep an ear out for free summer concerts sponsored by a corporation trying to promote their products.
