Three cheap, "quick fix" options are great for removing water rings.
  1. Rub a warm iron over a thick piece of cloth placed over a water ring, until the ring disappears.
  2. Apply and rub in a mixture of equal parts white toothpaste and mayonnaise on the water ring.
  3. Apply lemon oil or orange oil over the ring. Rub the oil in and let it sit for a few hours or overnight. Wipe off in the morning - the stain should be much less visible if not gone completely.
