Everyone knows fast-food restaurants are unhealthy. But despite their bargain claims, they can also be more expensive, too. Stop at a grocery store during your drive, or once you've reached your destination, to pick-up bread and cold cuts, fruit and other snacks, as well as drinks or personal items you may have forgotten. You will enjoy a cheaper and healthier meal on the road.
