Although it won't save as much water as a low-flow toilet, it is a cheap and easy way to conserve some water. Either seal two bricks in a plastic bag or use a plastic bottle filled with sand. Place either in to the tank. The extra weight will cause the tank to fill up faster and save on the water bill.
